About the app
What is Tiny Maintenance?
An iOS app for tracking recurring upkeep around your home, car, garden, and pets. Add an item, set how often it should happen, and get a friendly reminder when it's coming due. Tap "done" to reset the schedule.
Is it free?
Yes â free to download and use. A one-time Pro upgrade is available for power-user features like unlimited items, custom templates, and multiple reminders. No subscription, no ads.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no sign-up flow. Open the app and start adding tasks.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every feature works fully offline. The app does not require an internet connection.
Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your device. There is no server â your maintenance items never leave your phone.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Settings â Export produces a JSON backup you can save to Files, send to yourself, or import on a new device.
Is there cloud sync?
Not yet. Local-first is intentional. iCloud sync (so the same task list shows up on iPad) is on the roadmap.
Features
What maintenance categories are included?
Templates ship for home, car, garden, and pet care, with dozens of pre-filled recurring tasks. Anything not in templates can be added as a custom item.
Can I create custom tasks?
Yes. Any name, any interval (days, weeks, months, years). Templates are a head start, not a limit.
Does it have reminders and notifications?
Yes. Push notifications when something is coming due. You control how far in advance and what time of day.
Is there an Android version?
Not currently. iOS-only for now.
Will there be an iPad version?
Yes â planned for a future update.

iOS 17 or later.
