The short version
Tiny Maintenance does not require an account. There is no server for your maintenance data, and no cloud sync. Every maintenance item, completion record, and reminder you enter lives only on your device. We use two third-party services — RevenueCat and Vexo — described below, strictly for purchase handling and anonymous product analytics.
What stays on your phone
All app data — task names, intervals, completion history, reminder schedules, and any custom notes — is stored locally using iOS's standard on-device storage. It is included in your device backups (iCloud or local) only because Apple's backup system covers your apps' data; we do not run any cloud sync.
Purchases (RevenueCat)
If you buy or restore Tiny Maintenance Pro, purchase handling is processed through Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat, our subscription/entitlement service provider. RevenueCat is used only to validate purchases, manage your Pro entitlement, and support restore purchases. RevenueCat may use an app-specific or anonymous identifier to associate your purchase with your Pro access — it is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identity we hold, because we don't hold one.
Anonymous usage analytics (Vexo)
Tiny Maintenance uses Vexo, a first-party product analytics service, to understand which features are used so we can improve the app. Vexo collects anonymous product-interaction events — such as screen views, feature usage (for example creating an item or marking one done), and the Pro upgrade funnel. This data is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and never includes the content of your maintenance items, notes, or schedules.
What we never see
- Your maintenance items.
- Your reminder schedule.
- Your completion history and notes.
- Your name, email, or IP address.
Notifications
Tiny Maintenance schedules push notifications locally via iOS. They do not pass through our infrastructure. You can revoke notification permission at any time from Settings → Notifications → Tiny Maintenance.
Children
Tiny Maintenance is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes — for example, if we ship optional iCloud sync — we'll update this page and bump the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
